Meet the Team

  • Kristen Ward

    PRESIDENT

Kristen Ward married into the Cache family when she wed husband and native resident Randy in 2017. They moved back to the area shortly after, and she has been investing her time getting established in the community ever since. As the child of two Air Force officers, Kristen was raised with a strong sense of responsibility and a desire for excellence that still burns bright today. Born in Germany, she had the privilege of experiencing international differences of attitude and behaviors which has equipped her with a very dynamic and multifaceted personality. In addition, Kristen embodies the phrase “living big” as she possesses a variety of skills and talents enabling her to do anything she sets her mind to. After earning her degree studying mass communications with an emphasis on electronic media, she entered into the world of broadcast journalism and spent many years working as a news reporter and anchor in the Southwest region. In 2019 she and her husband left the world of broadcast news and purchased long-standing Cache local business Blue Moon Screen Printing and Embroidery. When she’s not working at the shop she can be found raising her two boys, Wyatt and Ryker, or organizing the community for a good cause. Cookie dough is her weakness, red lipstick is her passion, and she has a heart that is even bigger than her hair.

  • Amanda Martine-Ralston

    VICE-PRESIDENT

Amanda “Mandy” Martine-Ralston is a 2010 graduate and longtime resident of Cache, OK. Her family settled in the area in 2001, shortly after their service to the United States Army ended. Before planting roots in the area they frequently relocated from their friends and family’s support, which increased their reliance on local networking and also aided in establishing the foundation of strong community values that still drive her today. In addition to those values, the multiple moves grew her in the ability to get involved with and connect to others from different backgrounds and experiences. This exposure to diversity in her formative years helped her develop a truly broad and inclusive perspective on life. In 2012 while attending Cameron University, she was re-introduced to her husband, who she has been head over heels for since. Together they share three children - twin daughters Dillon Rose and Keegan Jo, and son Rowan Morris - who you will always hear coming. She happily spends her days living out her personal dream - partnering with her family in running Cache staple, Quilt N Bee, and her and husband Logan’s new small business, Fern. Staying true to her center, Mandy is still flowing from her heart of community in all that she does to this day. Whether it’s investing time and energy to continue positive growth and change locally, building a family legacy for the next generation to inherit, or expressing herself through her favored outlets of cooking, photography, art, and sewing, you can be sure she is surrounded by others and feeling right at home while she’s doing it.

  • Melissa Ortiz

    TREASURER

Melissa Ortiz is a Cache/Lawton area native with a love of the Wichita Mountains running through her blood. Born and raised in the region, she grew up appreciating the great outdoors and local communities surrounding them. As a teenager she was introduced to the financial and accounting world in a little tax office on C Avenue known as Jackson’s Bookkeeping and Tax Services. There she began working alongside her grandmother, Lola "Tootie" Jackson, learning and training in the tax and banking sphere. Since that time she has spent over twenty-five years working within the industry, holding a variety of positions including bookkeeping, accounting, and debt collections. The structure and predictability of the numbers world has always felt comfortable to the process driven Melissa, and her natural knack for creating order has lent well to this career. Outside of her profession, Melissa has been a dedicated wife to her husband David, and mother to their four grown children. They are the proud grandparents to two young children and when she is not spending time doting on them she can be found strengthening her relationship with God or finding ways to be helpful and serving others in the area.
